Wrist & Hand Pain

Wrist and hand pain refers to discomfort or pain experienced in the wrist, hand, or fingers, which can be caused by a variety of conditions or injuries. The wrist and hand are composed of many small bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves, making them highly susceptible to overuse, repetitive motions, or trauma. Common causes of wrist and hand pain include arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, sprains, fractures, and nerve compression.

Proper diagnosis is essential to determine the cause of wrist and hand pain, and treatment options may include rest, physical therapy, splinting, anti-inflammatory medications, injections, or surgery in severe cases. Addressing wrist and hand pain early can prevent long-term complications and restore function to the affected area.
