Knee Pain

Knee pain is a common issue that can arise from injuries, overuse, or medical conditions affecting the bones, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, or muscles around the knee joint. The knee is a complex joint that bears the body's weight and is essential for activities such as walking, running, and climbing stairs. Pain in the knee can range from mild discomfort to severe, debilitating pain that restricts mobility.

Common Symptoms

  • Pain or tenderness in or around the knee joint
  • Swelling and stiffness, particularly after activity or resting
  • Clicking, popping, or grinding sensations in the knee
  • Difficulty bending or straightening the knee
  • Instability or the sensation of the knee giving way
  • Weakness in the knee or leg muscles
  • Redness or warmth around the knee joint
  • Pain that worsens with activities such as walking, climbing stairs, squatting, or kneeling
  • Discomfort during prolonged sitting or while getting up from a seated position
